The upper baffel allows for the best heat transfer. The heat rises to heat the baffel then the remainder of the heat is force to a front heat chamber that heats the top side of the heat transfer tubes. there is a smoke bypass rod the allows the smoke to go straight up the stack so you don't get a face full of smoke when you open the door
|
|
The round fire box allows for maximum heat transfer area.It also has water all the way arround the fire box. This is important for the best heat transfer area on your outdoor wood furnace. The round style allso allow you to be able to put much more wood in at one time than other syles of outdoor wood furnaces
